FILTER SYSTEM
Maintenance
If you are selecting an Admiral or Ensign plan, do not sign up for this service, as your maintenance technician will alert you when a filter swap is needed at your weekly visits.
Please note: This service is a check up only, and is not designed to maintain your pool water or system operation. Please refer to our Admiral or Ensign plans if you want a maintenance service.
A dirty filter is detrimental to the clarity of any pool. To avoid chemistry and bacteria issues or even possible damage to equipment the filter should be swapped out throughout the pool season. With this service the filter elements are rinsed and then soaked for over 24 hours in a special cleaning solution designed just for pool and spa filters. Then they are methodically pressure cleaned with up to 1200psi warm water.
Afterwards the filters are carefully stored to dry thoroughly at our shop so they are totally conditioned and ready to be reinstalled. Upon changing, the tech will rinse/clean the interior of filter tank and clean/seat tank o’ring. Our tech will also perform a full water analysis and leave you the necessary treatment products along with your water treatment report and instructions on what to add, as well as re-stock your chemical supply based on your request.

POOLS MUST BE IN SWIM READY CONDITION BEFORE REGULAR MAINTENANCE CAN BEGIN
If our technician deems it is not in such condition additional cleaning/chemistry fees will be required. By signing up for an Anchor maintenance plan, the customer is agreeing to the terms outlined above and agrees to perform their part as stated under “What You Do.” Customers may change their maintenance plan during the season, but must provide a minimum 1 week notice for the change to take effect.
