When it comes to building your inground swimming pool, our first step is educating you on the many details and pieces that go into making the best possible choice for your specific pool project.

TYPES OF POOLS

Making the best choice for your pool project starts with understanding and comparing the 3 main different types of pools and which one fits your vision for your backyard.

FIBERGLASS POOL

  • Pre-Manufactured Pool

  • Easy to Clean Surface

  • Fastest to Install, Requires Lowest Level of Construction Skills

  • No Customization at All

  • No widths available over 25'4"

  • If Pool Leaks & Water Level Drops More Than 18" it Voids Warranty

  • Cannot be Drained, Walls May Collapse

  • Not Recommended as a Diving Pool, Only Meets Minimum Standard Depth

  • Access to Yard is Critical Otherwise Pool Must be Lifted in with Crane Over Top of House

SHOTCRETE (CONCRETE) POOL

The shotcrete (concrete) pool system is made up of a steel reinforcement cage with up to 12" of concrete applied through a hose to cover the steel cage.

  • Manufactured in Backyard

  • Fully Customizable Features,Lengths, Widths, & Depths

  • Customizable Circulation System

  • Anchor's Advanced Water Surface Filtration Available

  • Rough Floor Finish, Tough on Kids Toes

  • Most Expensive Construction

  • No Surface or Tile Warranty Available Due to Freeze-Thaw Exposure

  • Greater expense is Not Representative of a Greater Quality, but of Material Costs & Much Greater Labor Hours to Construct

ANCHOR'S HYBRID POOL SYSTEM

The hybrid pool system consists of a uniform manufactured polymer wall and brace system. The bracing system is every 3'-4' around the pool perimeter. All of the interior features (i.e. sun ledges, benches, steps, etc.) are manufactured using the same system so each feature is perfectly sized. The balance of the pool, floors, deep end walls, sun ledge surface, steps surface, and bench surface are all poured solid concrete.

POOL PROJECT COSTS

Along with understanding the 3 different types of pools, there are many additional factors that contribute to what the cost of your entire pool project will be.

Not only do you have to consider the type and size of the pool when determining pricing, but total cost will also include basic expenses that a pool requires, no matter who builds your pool.
